March 30, 2009 : วันนี้ ต้องภาระหลายอย่าง เริ่มต้น 8.15 น. ออกจากบ้านขับรถเลียบทาง Local road เลี้ยวซ้ายไปเข้าถนนแจ้งวัฒนะ ไปต่ออีกประมาณ 4 กม. สู่จุดหมาย กรมการกงสุล หาที่จอดรถ ซึ่งก็ไม่ใหญ่โตมาก เจ้าหน้าที่จัดการให้ผู้มาบริการจอดรถได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพจริงๆ 
ขึ้นบันไดเลื่อนไปสู่ขั้น 2 ฝ่ายหนังสือเดินทางบุคคลทั่วไป อยู่ด้านซ้ายมือ ด้ายก็ไปรับเอกสารและเลือกที่นั่งกรอก ช่วงนั้นเวลา 9.15 น. ส่วนแม่ก็เลือกที่นั่งแถวหลังตามอัธยาศัย เพราะมีที่นั่งเแถวหลังว่างเยอะ 
จุดที่เรียกความสนใจ ก็คือ.. เสียงเรียกเลขคิว และ จอทีวีขนาด 32 นิ้วหรือกว่านี้ !!! ที่โชว์เลขคิวและช่อง (มี 60 ช่องตรวจ) …เลข สีเหลือง ช่องบนซ้าย เป็นเลขคิวที่เรียกให้เข้าไปรับบริการ และสีแดงเป็นเลขคิว ซึ่งเป็นเลขที่เรียกผ่านไป . เสียงเรียกเลขคิวดังทุกๆ 5-10 วินาที คาดว่าสามารถบริการได้ประมาณ 10-12 คนต่อนาที …ลองคำนวณดูนะ ค่าบริการ คนละ 1,000 บาท ทำงานเพียง 3 ชั่วโมง ทำรายได้ให้กรมการกงสุลได้เท่าไร ? ….. เวลา 9.22 น. ได้ยินเสียงเรียก … เลขคิว 0366 ช่อง 19 เห็นด้ายลุกและเดินไปห้องที่ให้บริการ นั่งฟังเสียงเรียกเลขคิวเพลินๆ เวลา 9.40 น. ด้ายออกมาแล้ว พอมาถึงก็ถามแม่ว่า รู้เปล่า !!!! ด้ายได้เข้าตรวจช่องอะไร 5555555 อย่างแม่หรือ จะไม่รู้ ….. เลขคิว 0366 ช่องวันเกิดลูกไง !!!! ด้ายยิ้ม และยังโม้ต่อ …ด้าย เข้าไปถึงไม่ต้องรอเหมือนช่องอื่น ได้ทำเลย แถมเจ้าหน้าที่ก็ใจดี ถ่ายรูปให้ตั้งหลายครั้ง บอกว่ารูปติดบัตรจะได้สวย …ถูกใจด้ายจริงๆๆ นะ …. 
มาเห็นการทำงานของกรมการกงสุลวันนี้ ขอชมเชยที่บริหารจัดการระบบการทำPassport ได้รวดเร็ว คล่องตัว ทำให้ผู้ที่มาติดต่อไม่เสียเวลารอนาน พื้นที่มีการหมุนเวียนใช้งานได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพจริงๆ เสร็จภาระกิจที่กรมการกงสุล และ ก็เดินทางไปหาอาหารกลางวันที่ Big C วงศ์สว่าง ขับรถกว่าจะถึงเวลาขับตั้งแต่ 10.00 – 11.15 น. รถติดมากๆ … แต่ได้อิ่มอร่อยกะอาหารกลางวันตามที่ตั้งใจ
จาก Big C มุ่งไปสู่ ร.พ.รามาธิบดี ระหว่างทางฝนตกหนักมาก ยังกังวลว่า ด้ายจะลงจากรถเพื่อไปขึ้นรถไฟใต้ดินที่บางซื่อได้ไงนะ ร่มก็ไม่มี พอเลี้ยวซ้ายที่สามแยกเตาปูน ไม่มีฝน พื้นถนนแห้ง ทำไมคุณด้ายเธอถึง…โชคดีอย่างนี้ คงทำบุญมาเยอะแต่ปางก่อน
ถึงโรงพยาบาลรามาธิบดีแล้ว …. ได้จอดรถชั้นดาดฟ้า อาคารวิจัย โชคดีมีที่จอดขวาง 1 ช่อง พอไปถึงแผนกอายุรกรรม เห็นคนที่มารับบริการนั่งและยืนเต็มพื้นที่ แม้กระทั่งทางเดิน พอเดินผ่าผู้คนเข้าไป มันทั้ง… ร้อน …อึดอัด….หายใจไม่สะดวก เป็นภาพที่เห็นได้เจอะเจอทุกครั้งที่มาตรวจตามนัด …. ทำให้สงสัยทำไมภาวะสุขภาพของคนไม่ดีเลย อันที่จริง… การศึกษาต้องสอนให้คนปฏิบัติตัวให้ถูกต้อง .. ห่างไข้.. ไกลโรคนะ โดยสอนให้ปฏิบัติตาม 5 อ. อย่างถูกต้อง อาหาร - อารมณ์ - อากาศ - ออกกำลังกาย - อุจจาระ 
โดยปฎิบัติ 5 อ. ที่ถูกต้อง และ- สม่ำเสมอ เป็นการดูแลตัวเองก็น่าจะทำให้ภาวะสุขภาพของคนไทยดีขึ้น ไม่ต้องพึ่ง ร.พ. ไม่ไม่จำเป็น ,,,,, ทำให้นึกถึง บรรยากาศของกรมการกงสุล มันช่างห่างกันลิบลับ ภาพใบหน้าของผู้คนที่รอตรวจโรค มันทั้งเหนื่้อย เพลีย รอคอยเวลา เมื่อไหร่จะถึงคิวเรียกตรวจ !!!!!!!!!!!
คนเข้าออก ร.พ.มากมายอย่างที่เห็น กอร์ปกับต้องเสียเวลามากในแต่ละครั้งที่มา ร.พ. จึงต้องมีการขยายพื้นที่ ร.พ. อย่างต่อเนื่อง จนหาพื้นที่ว่างแทบจะไม่มีในปัจจุบัน
