หายไปนาน ร่วมเดือน ไม่ได้หนีร้อนไปไหน …. ยุ่งๆ กะให้ช่างมาปรับปรุงบริเวณรอบบ้าน สาเหตุค่ะ : ก่อนตัดสินใจเรียกช่างมาปรับปรุงบริเวณบ้าน …ปกติกิจวัตรประจำวัน ตื่นเช้ามา หากไม่ต้องรีบไปไหน ก็จะลงไปจากบ้านไปทักทายต้นไม้ในสวนน้อยๆ พรวนดินบ้าง จัดมุมต้นไม้บ้าง ….เช้าจันทร์นี้ 23 มีนาคม 2552 ก็เช่นกัน เสร็จภาระกิจจากสวน ขึ้นบ้านได้ไม่นานนัก ….. ก็เห็นลูกด้าย วิ่้งเข้าบ้าน บอกว่า เห็นงู ยาวเชียว เลื้อยผ่านตรงใกล้บันไดขั้นสุดท้ายไป ถามว่าเลื้อยไปไหน ได้คำตอบว่า …“ไม่รู้..กลัว” วิ่งเข้าบ้านเสียก่อน สงสัยจัง !!! ทำไมเจ้าไข่เค็มไม่ยักเห่าเลยนะ … นึกได้ ขังมันอยู่ในบ้านตั้ังแต่ีให้อาหารเช้า ….. ตัดสินใจลงไปปล่อยเจ้าไข่เค็ม เพื่อเป็นเพื่อนเดินสำรวจหางู แต่บริเวณต้นไม้รกๆ ไม่ขอไปนะ ช่างมัน เดี๋ยวมันคงเลื้อยออกไปเอง … ณ ขณะนัั้นตัดสินใจ โทรหาช่างให้มาปรับปรุงบ้าน เพื่อทำให้บริเวณมีซอกมุมน้อยที่สุด นี่แหละเป็นเหตุของ…. ปรับปรุงบ้าน : 26 มีนาคม - 8 เมษายน 2552 
ย้อนกลับไปก่อนไป New York เมื่อเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ ได้มีการปรับปรุงบ้านเปลี่ยนกันสาดหน้าบ้าน … กันสาดอันเก่า เงยหน้ามองขึ้นไป ….เห็น ราขึ้นทุกตารางพื้นที่ บังเอิญผ่านบ้านกลางซอย เห็นช่างกำลังติดตั้งกันสาด แวะถาม และ ให้มาวัดประเมินกันสาดที่บ้าน ติดตั้งใหม่ ราคา 4,000 บาท
จึงตัดสินใจเลือกสีสรร และรูปแบบ …… 
ปรับปรุงบ้าน : 26 มีนาคม - 8 เมษายน 2552 อันที่จริงไม่คิดว่าใช้เวลาสักอาทิตย์ก็ปรับปรุงเสร็จ พอดีช่วงนั้นมีพายุฝน ติดต่อกันหลายวัน ทำได้ครึ่งวันก็ทำต่อไม่ได้ ได้มีการปรับปรุงหลายอย่างรอบๆ บ้าน จะพาไปดูนะ ,,,,,,,,,,
เริ่มจาก ประตูบ้าน : พยายามหาประตูเก่าที่ถ่ายจากด้านหน้า หรือ ถ่ายตรงๆ ก็ยังไม่เจอ ได้แต่รูปเอียงๆ แบบนี้มาแทน ส่วนประตูที่เปลี่ยนใหม่ ….. ด้านบน .. เป็นไม้เชอร่ารั้ว ส่วนล่างเป็นเหล็กแผ่น มีประตูเล็กอยู่ด้านริมซ้าย ล้อเลื่อนเป็นล้อคู่ หวังว่าคงแข็งแรงขึ้น
ตามมา …. รั้ว :
รื้อรั้วเหล็กที่สนิมเขอะทิ้ง ก่ออิฐรั้วแทน เหตุที่ทำเป็นรั้วทึบเพราะรำคาญเสียงเห่าทั้งกลางวัน - กลางคืน ของเจ้าไข่เค็ม … พอเห็นคนเดินผ่าน ไม่เข้าใจว่าทำไมต้องวิ่งไล่และเห่าทั้งที่อยู่ในบ้านนะ … ต้องตกใจตื่นทุกคืน พอปิดแล้วได้ผล …ได้ยินเสียงเห่าก่อกวนน้อยลง ทำรั้วเสร็จ … ให้ช่างทำราวไว้ให้ต้นชมนาคเลื้อย และ ราวตากผ้า ด้วยเลย
